Ready to go wireless? We make it easy. DSTN has the products and expertise to put together a wireless network that's right for you. Ranging from home networks to advanced wireless setups for your business, we make sure you get what you need, when you need it.
With a wireless-enabled home network, you can roam from room to room, between floors or even outdoors with ease. So you can wander virtually anywhere within the wireless range without missing a beat. Now you’re free to access and share your files, music, photos and more from any network-connected PC – without copying information to a disk or burning a CD. |
1. Start with a wireless router
The wireless broadband router connects to your existing DSL or cable modem.
This hookup allows all of the computers, gaming consoles and Ethernet-enabled devices in your home to share Internet access. Routers also have numerous network –protection tools built in, so you can surf and share with safety, security and privacy.
2. Add wireless adapters ( if necessary)
If you recently purchased a notebook or PC, you may already have a wireless card installed.
So check your computer first to see if it can communicate with your router. If not, you’ll need to add a wireless adapter for each device you want to operate wirelessly.
3. Get it all connected
Need some help connecting your new router? DSTN On Call *can assist you by phone, with contracts starting at $49 with product purchase. Or a Dell-certified technician can come to your home to install * your router and network for $159. |
